Why us?

We are an independent family business with a passion and proven record of finding the right homes for the right people and ensuring those selling or letting their property get a fair price and a sound return on their investment.

Founded by Thomas H Wood in 1970, the company is now managed by Tom’s sons John and Paul Wood who learnt everything about the industry by working alongside their father and listening to our customers.

est. 1970

Initially trading on Park Place in the heart of Cardiff with two members of staff, we later moved to North Road and steadily grew to our current team of nine. Our portfolio stretches the breadth of Cardiff and south Wales, including both commercial and residential property. In 2007, we put down roots in Whitchurch, expanding into Radyr with a second office in 2015. We have a genuine affection for the north Cardiff belt, which is reflected in our track record of successfully selling and letting homes here.

In Whitchurch, we have helped many first-time buyers find apartments, houses and town houses at Whitworth Square, as well as the Samuels Crescent development at Whitchurch Rugby Club. We’ve also helped families settle happily in the stunning Victorian, Edwardian and Georgian properties in areas like The Parade, Church Road, Heol Don and Westbourne Crescent, and have worked with exclusive developments like Regent Gardens and Bishops Gate.

Similarly in Radyr, we’ve paired established buyers with their perfect period properties, alongside the executive-style properties on the private Parc Radur development and mix of apartments, town houses and larger homes on the Radyr Sidings development. For first-time buyers, we recommend Radyr Sidings and Radyr Gardens, an attractive modern development on an elevated site in the Morganstown area.

Heading out of Radyr on the Llantrisant Road towards Groesfaen, the exciting development currently under construction will undoubtedly add to what the area has to offer for those looking for new homes. The nearby villages of Creigiau, Pentyrch, Gwaelod Y Garth and Danescourt each offer something for everyone with distinct individual charms.
